A wheel thrown, hand painted salt cellar. Please note that this salt cellar has a surface crack on the back side. This crack is sealed with glaze and does not go all the way through. This flaw is reflected in the price and does not affect the function of the piece.

Each piece from Stott Mountain Pottery is handmade and truly one of a kind. All pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe. Variations in glaze, including slight pooling, movement, or areas of opacity are natural results of the firing process and part of what gives handmade pottery its character. Because each piece is created and finished by hand, slight variations in shape, texture, brushwork, handle shape, and surface feel may also occur. These features are not considered defects (unless excessively present), but rather a reflection of authentic craftsmanship and the individuality of each piece.

That said, if you are unhappy with your piece for any reason, returns are accepted for a refund. Items must be shipped back at the buyer’s expense and must arrive safely in their original condition (free of chips, cracks, or damage) to be eligible for a refund.
