Elk Traveler

This traveler was part of a kiln firing that was slightly overfired, resulting in an extra gritty texture. The traveler received a thorough sanding to remove any sharpness, but a noticeable gritty or “sandy” texture similar to fine-grit sandpaper still remains (the rim and sipping hole received extra attention during the sanding process and still function comfortably.) This flaw does not affect the function or safety of the piece,
